If you’ve booked a package holiday (such as a cruise or a trip through a tour operator or their travel agent), you usually have the legal right to change the name of the traveller(s).
Trip Transfer can help guide you through this process — and you’re always free to double-check with your travel provider for reassurance.
To book a holiday, browse our listings and select the one that interests you. Click ‘Book Now’ and follow the prompts to finalize your payment and reservation.

Yes – all holidays listed on Trip Transfer are validated by our team. We carefully check all booking details before approving them for resale, so you can book with confidence.
Trip Transfer holds the buyer’s payment securely.
We’ll only ask you to arrange the name transfer with your travel provider once full payment has been received.
You’ll be paid only after you’ve provided proof that the name change has been completed.
We charge a minimal fee of:
3% to the buyer
3% to the seller
(Minimum fee: £30 for each)
This helps cover secure processing and platform support.
Yes — you’ll pay by debit or credit card, which means:
You’re protected by consumer laws
You’re also covered by your card provider’s refund policy if something goes wrong
In the unlikely event Trip Transfer couldn’t fulfil the booking or issue a refund, your card issuer would be able to step in.
After you pay, we’ll contact the seller within 24 hours.
We expect the name transfer to be completed within 72 hours.
If that doesn’t happen, Trip Transfer will automatically issue a full refund, which usually takes 3–4 working days to process back to your card.
It’s common to have travel insurance, but cancellation cover isn’t always included. Be sure to check your policy for cancellation protection and any limits that apply.
If you’re covered and need to cancel your trip, we strongly recommend submitting a full claim through your insurer.
